Unlimited Travel With Gadkari’s ₹3,000 FASTag Annual Pass – Here’s How It Works.

Hey dear, I know that this thing troubles you a lot, and like me, you also get irritated seeing a toll booth every few minutes on the highway?

Then maybe this new FASTag Annual Pass policy is made for you only!

Nitin Gadkari has announced a new system, in which for ₹3,000, you will be able to travel without stoppage for 200 trips or a year.

Will this model make highway travel cheap, seamless, and hassle-free?

Let's know every detail about the new FASTag Annual Pass.

This pass will be valid only for strictly non-commercial private vehicles. Neither taxis, nor trucks – only personal vehicles. Validity will either last for one year or up to 200 highway trips – whichever is earlier. So, if you are a weekend traveller or commute to long distance office daily, then this pass will be cost-effective for you.

Tech Shift: From Toll Booths to Smart Sensors.

The government has a long-term plan to completely eliminate toll booths by using the FASTag infrastructure. This will be replaced by a system of sensor-based collection and GPS vehicle tracking.

This will not only make travel seamless but will also provide a barrier-free experience on highways across the country. No more “toll ka jam”! Another advantage of this is that people will not have to waste hours standing at toll plazas.

Where to Get It: Rajmarg Yatra App & NHAI Website.

A dedicated link will be provided for this FASTag Annual Pass activation and renewal. You can activate it from the official websites of the Rajmarg Yatra App, NHAI, and MoRTH. The process is being simplified so that there is no confusion or hassle.

Why It Matters: Say Goodbye to 60 KM Toll Worries.

A major highlight of this new policy is that it addresses toll plaza issues in a range of 60 km. Now, with a single recharge, you will not have to pay tolls everywhere. Time will be saved, and along with that, you will also get rid of arguments, congestion, and delays.

FASTag Annual Pass Price: Just ₹3,000 For Unlimited Convenience.

This new FASTag policy is not very expensive, its price is just ₹3,000. After recharging once, you will neither have to pay for every trip, nor will you have to stop at every toll booth. A peaceful and seamless ride for a year – and that too at such an affordable rate? Sounds like a win!

Launch Timeline: Starting This Independence Day.

The rollout of the new FASTag Annual Pass is starting from 15 August. Only non-commercial private vehicle owners will get the benefit of this pass.

It will be valid from the day of activation for one year, or up to a maximum of 200 trips – whichever is earlier. That is, if you travel a lot, then this pass can be a jackpot for you!

Alternate Model: ₹50 per 100 KM Toll Plan Also in Talks.

For those who do not want to take the ₹3,000 annual pass, another model is being discussed – in which there can be a flat toll charge of ₹50 per 100km.

But the implementation of this alternate policy is not yet clear. Only the annual pass has been officially given the green signal. Earlier, there was a plan for a ₹30,000 lifetime FASTag, but that was shelved.

The Road Ahead: What This Means For Indian Commuters.
