For those who do not want to take the ₹3,000 annual pass, another model is being discussed – in which there can be a flat toll charge of ₹50 per 100km.
But the implementation of this alternate policy is not yet clear. Only the annual pass has been officially given the green signal. Earlier, there was a plan for a ₹30,000 lifetime FASTag, but that was shelved.
