Performance: Youth-Focused, Feature-Rich Ride.

At the time of launch in 2018, when the 125cc scooter market had just started growing in India, TVS introduced the Ntorq to the market with a youth-centric approach.

Since then, TVS has been launching new variants every day to keep the scooters fresh and demand growing.

Performance-wise, the Ntorq is quite popular among the youth audience due to its sporty styling, peppy engine, and feature-rich dash.

TVS Ntorq 125 Market Share: TVS’s No-2 Bestselling Scooter.

After Jupiter, the Ntorq 125 Scooter is the second-best-selling scooter for the brand. From February 2018 to May 2025, TVS has sold 20,06,038 units of Ntorq in India – contributing 23% to the company’s total of 8.75 million scooters.

In FY2025 alone, the Ntorq set its best-ever yearly sales record by selling 3,34,414 units – 6% more than FY2024.

But if we talk about market share, then in 2022, the share of Ntorq was 29%, which has fallen to just 18% by 2025. This is because Jupiter’s share has now reached 61%, and the electric iQube is also growing with a 15% share.

India Rankings: Ntorq Has Become the 4th Bestselling Scooter.

In FY2025, TVS Ntorq 125 became India’s fourth-best-selling scooter. At the top is Honda Activa (2.52 million units), followed by Jupiter (1.10 million units), then Suzuki Access (7,27,458 units).

Ntorq has also beaten Honda Dio, which sold just 13,194 units more. Ntorq’s performance in exports has also been strong, with 64,988 units, which became TVS’s 4th most-exported scooter in FY2025.

Exports: Also became TVS’s Most Exported Scooter.

Ntorq is in great demand not just in India but internationally as well. From February 2018 to the end of FY2025, TVS has exported 3,08,252 Ntorq scooters, which is much more than Jupiter’s 1,22,866 exports. This clearly shows that the TVS Ntorq 125 has emerged as an attractive option for the global audience as well.

TVS Market Position: Growth Fueled By Jupiter & Ntorq.

Jupiter and Ntorq together have increased the TVS scooter market share from 16.35% in FY2018 to 26.45% in FY2025. This has made TVS the no.2 position in the market, after Honda (which has a share of 41.50%).

Suzuki is in third place with 14.95%. This growth of TVS is especially impressive considering that TVS Ntorq 125 stands in the tough competition of the 125cc scooter segment.
