Hero Xoom 160 Deliveries Likely to Start From August.
The company launched the Hero Xoom 160 in January 2025, whose ex-showroom price was ₹1,48,500. According to the first plan, deliveries of the scooter were to start from April, but till now the company has not delivered its stock to the dealers, and bookings have also been suspended for the time being.
Now, indications are being received from the company that deliveries of this Xoom scooter can start around August-September 2025.
The company has now started a training program for its Xoom 160 staff, as it becomes clear that the stock will start reaching the showrooms soon.
Bookings will be reopened as soon as the first batch is delivered.
The Company’s Focus is Currently on Other Models.
Hero is currently focusing more on the three new products that were launched in January, along with the Xoom 160:
- Xpulse 210
- Xtreme 250R
- Xoom 125R
Deliveries of these three models have already started a few months ago. The Xoom 125R in particular has been getting a good response from showroom visitors — its imposing styling and big 14-inch wheels are attracting a lot of people.
One thing to note is that these three new products are being sold only through Hero’s Premium dealerships, which are far fewer compared to mass-market showrooms.
By the end of 2024, the company had 40 Premium dealerships in 35 cities, and there has been no new update in this number since then.

The direct competition of this Hero Xoom 160 Scooter is from the Yamaha Aerox 155. This maxi-scooter has been given a powerful 156cc, liquid-cooled engine, which comes with a CVT automatic gearbox. This engine is capable of generating 14.6 bhp of power and 14 Nm of torque.
