Hyundai Records Around 59,000 Dispatches in India for May 2025.

Hey friends, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) dispatched a total of 58,701 vehicles in the month of May 2025, of which 43,861 units came from domestic Hyundai Sales in May 2025 and 14,840 units from exports.

This performance came after the company took a planned manufacturing pause at its Sriperumbudur plant in Tamil Nadu. This maintenance shutdown impacted the availability of some popular models, but it had no impact on exports.

Maintaining Export Momentum Despite Maintenance Shutdown.

The May 2025 maintenance break was part of HMIL’s biannual schedule, with the primary goal being servicing and optimisation of production lines. This temporarily reduced the supply of some fast-moving models. But Hyundai maintained momentum in its global supply chain, and exports continued to be strong.

The company has now put its plant operations back into normal mode and expects delivery cycles to be streamlined again, whether it be domestic market or internationally.

  • 1.2L NA petrol
  • 1.5L CRDi diesel
  • 1.0L GDI turbo petrol (3-cylinder)

Multiple transmission choices will be available with all these engines.
