Mercedes-Benz India has announced its first India-specific special edition SUV – Mercedes-AMG G63 Collector’s Edition. It will get custom upholstery, exclusive trims, and bespoke paint finishes, which make this iconic off-roader even more premium.
Mechanically, it is the same as the standard AMG G63, with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 mild hybrid engine that generates 585 hp and 850Nm of torque. Transmission includes a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive setup. Pricing has not been officially revealed, but it will be a bit premium over the standard G63 (₹3.64 crore) and will be launched in India on June 27, 2025.

News suggests that Mercedes-Benz is going to launch its flagship performance coupe – the second-gen AMG GT- at the end of June. It will come in two variants: GT 63 4Matic+ and GT 63 Pro 4Matic+. Performance-wise, both are excellent – 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds, and top speed is 315km/h for the GT 63 and 317km/h for the GT 63 Pro.
Expect pricing to start at ₹3 crore+, and launching on June 27, 2025, which will directly compete with high-performance rivals like the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS.
