Tata Harrier EV: India’s Flagship Electric SUV | Launch Date: June 3, 2025.

Hey friends, if you are a fan of Tata Motors, then this news is for you. Tata is finally going to launch its much-awaited Harrier EV in June 2025, which everyone has been eagerly waiting for.
This SUV was first seen in production-spec form at the Auto Expo 2025, and now it is going to become Tata’s flagship electric SUV. Its design looks similar to the ICE Harrier, but EV-specific elements like a sealed front grille, connected DRLs, sharper LED taillights, and aero alloy wheels make it different.
The interior also gets the same features as the ICE Harrier, such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen, digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, and 4-spoke steering, but new EV tech like connected car features, terrain modes, and OTA updates make it future-ready.
The EV is based on Tata’s updated Omega platform (Acti.ev) and will get a dual-motor AWD setup that delivers up to 500Nm of torque. The exact battery specs have not been revealed by the company yet, but as per internal testing, the SUV has achieved a real-world range of 500+ km (C75 test cycle).

Mechanically, it is the same as the standard AMG G63, with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 mild hybrid engine that generates 585 hp and 850Nm of torque. Transmission includes a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive setup. Pricing has not been officially revealed, but it will be a bit premium over the standard G63 (₹3.64 crore) and will be launched in India on June 27, 2025.

The new-gen AMG GT has now become even more practical thanks to 2+2 seating, larger boot space, and a feature-rich luxury cabin.
Both models will be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired to a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission and AWD. The GT 63 produces 585 hp & 800 Nm while the GT 63 Pro produces 612 hp & 850 Nm. Performance-wise, both are excellent – 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds, and top speed is 315km/h for the GT 63 and 317km/h for the GT 63 Pro.
