Suzuki’s first electric scooter e-Access was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Its series production has started in May 2025 at the Gurgaon plant.
In this, you will get many premium features like all-LED lighting, dual-tone paint, front disc brake with CBS, USB smartphone charger, keyless ignition, side-stand interlock system, and a 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth, navigation, and weather alerts.
For power, it will get a 3 kWh fixed LFP battery, which can give a range of 95 km on a single charge. Along with this, you will also get a fast charging support.
2. Hero Vida VX2: Budget Segment King.

Hero MotoCorp’s next big launch – Vida VX2, is going to be launched in India on 1st July 2025. This is going to be a budget-friendly electric scooter from Hero that will come in two trims – Go and Plus.
Battery specs are not yet officially confirmed, but according to reports, 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh battery options can be found. Expected range will be minimum 100 km in a full charge.
The biggest thing is that VX2 will be offered with BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) subscription, which will reduce the total cost considerably.
3. TVS Orbiter: Affordable Yet Promising.

TVS is also going to launch a new affordable electric scooter, which will be positioned below the iQube. This scooter is expected to hit the market by October 2025, which could be named Orbiter.
Expected price could be less than ₹ 1 lakh, and it is also likely to get the 2.2 kWh battery and Bosch-sourced hub motor of the base variant of the iQube. Estimated range will be 80 km per charge.
Its specs and design details have not been made public yet, but more information is expected to come in the next few months.
4. Ather EL e-Scooter: Innovation At Its Core.

Ather Energy will unveil its new EL platform based electric scooter in August 2025, some concepts of which will also be showcased at the brand’s Community Day event. None of Ather’s scooters have come below ₹ 1 lakh so far, so this model will fill that gap.
The EL scooter could also see the debut of Ather Stack 7.0 – the brand’s next-gen software. This launch could finally give Ather a strong position in the mass-market segment.
5. Yamaha RY01: Premium Experience Incoming.

Yamaha’s first Indian electric scooter, codenamed RY01, is being made in collaboration with Bengaluru-based EV startup River. The scooter will be based on River Indie’s platform and will be built at River’s Bengaluru plant.
The RY01 will be a premium electric scooter that could have high-end features like a 6-inch full-color LED display, 14-inch wheels, and a 4 kWh battery. Expected range will be 100+ km and top speed could touch 90 kmph. The scooter is expected to be launched in India by early 2026.
